What is QB Check?

Why it Matters.

Welcome.

You may be interested in learning more about QbCheck as part of a thoughtful and careful evaluation for ADHD.

I work in collaboration with you and your therapist (or myself) to provide this screening.

What QBCheck does

I offer access to an online, FDA‑cleared and research‑backed screening for ADHD called QbCheck. This test is designed to objectively measure the three core features of ADHD: hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention.

QbCheck does not by itself give a diagnosis. Instead, it provides a structured snapshot — a measurement of how attention, activity, and impulse control are showing up for you right now. Think of it as a baseline: a data-informed view of how your brain is functioning in the moment.

The real value of this kind of screening is that it goes beyond self-report or verbal questionnaires. Because it uses objective metrics (movement tracking + response‑time testing + attention tasks), it can give a clearer, more accurate baseline for comparison. Those results, combined with your history, experiences, and input from your therapist, help us understand your attention and executive‑function patterns more deeply.

How we’ll use it together
Once you complete the test, I’ll share the results with your therapist, and together we’ll review what they show. We’ll discuss what’s going on for you, what may be contributing, and how best to support you — whether that means therapy, lifestyle adjustments, or other recommendations.

QBCheck

What is QBCheck?

An objective, computer-based test designed to help assess for attention‑deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

  • FDA‑cleared for use in people aged roughly 6 to 60 years.

  • The test takes about 15–20 minutes, and can be completed on a laptop or desktop with webcam under the supervision of a trained clinician.

What Does it Measure?

  • Tracks attention and inattention by having you respond to visual cues on screen, and measuring how accurately and consistently you respond

  • Measures impulsivity by noting incorrect or premature responses.

  • Measures motor activity / hyperactivity by using the webcam to record physical movement with high precision, even detecting very small movements.

The Results

The test produces a standardized report comparing your results to normative data (people of the same age and sex without ADHD), showing where you stand in attention, impulsivity, and activity relative to typical ranges
